The UZH Innovation Hub is kicking off the new year with grants, fellowships, and a series of workshops. The DSI's partner organization supports master's graduates and early-stage researchers on their journey from research idea to practical application.
UZH Innovation Grants – call deadline March 1st
The UZH Innovation Grant is an early-stage program for research-based innovations. It provides funding and a guided process to validate the potential of the innovation with a focus on social and economic impact. The insights from this program empower researchers to determine the next steps and funding strategies for their projects.
UZH Entrepreneur Fellowships – call deadline April 15th
The UZH Entrepreneur Fellowship is a support program to implement research-based solutions and launch a Spin-off. It supports innovation in three tracks (Bio & MedTech, Digital Innovation, and Sustainable Society) and provides funding and coaching to shape a product/service and develop a proof of concept.
Entrepreneurial Skills for Researchers – starting in March
The Entrepreneurial Skills workshop series offers early career researchers a hands-on introduction to innovation. Half-day courses cover topics such as exploring the entrepreneurial impact of your research, building a sustainable business model, and how to get first customers.
