The DSI Strategy Lab: clear positions and recommendations on digital issues

What does disinformation do to democracy? How should universities deal with AI? Every year since 2021, the DSI Strategy Lab has taken on a pressing question of digital transformation – and answered it with recommendations. The second impact of our anniversary series shows what can come of that.

Autor: DSI Communications

In interdisciplinary retreats and workshops, the DSI Strategy Lab brings together experts from a range of disciplines. They analyze the landscape, develop future scenarios, and translate them into clear positions and concrete recommendations. The aim is to offer orientation to those who have to decide.

Two examples show that this works. On AI regulation, the Strategy Lab contributed a distinct, evidence-based perspective to the national debate in Switzerland. And with the UZH AI Buddy, it produced an AI assistant that supports students in their everyday university life. Today, it lives on as askUZH.

To the impact: DSI Strategy Lab

The DSI Strategy Lab is the second of ten impacts in the DSI's anniversary series «Decade of Impact». Every week in the run-up to the anniversary celebration on November 24, a new impact will be published here and on the DSI's LinkedIn channel.
