1st Digital Publics Conference: Program Is Set, Registration Is Open
The DSI Community Digital Publics invites participants to the 1st Digital Publics Conference at the University of Zurich, October 21 - 23, 2026. The program is now online, and registration is open.
Over three days, scholars from around the world will discuss how digital technologies are transforming public life. The program includes panels on Online Political Behavior, Platform Governance, Content Moderation, and Digital Authoritarianism and Control, among others.
The keynote will be delivered by Chris Bail, Professor of Sociology, Computer Science, Political Science, and Public Policy at Duke University, on Thursday, October 22, titled «Bridging Divides with Generative AI: A Field Experiment with NextDoor».
