Welcome, Anastasiia
We are pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Anastasiia Koloskova as DSI Professor. Anastasiia Koloskova is a tenure-track assistant professor of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Optimization.
Previously, she was a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University at Stanford Trustworthy AI Research lab with Prof. Sanmi Koyejo. She completed her PhD studies at EPFL under the supervision of Prof. Martin Jaggi. Her PhD was supported by a Google PhD Fellowship in Machine Learning. During her PhD she also spent some time at FAIR (Facebook AI Research), and Google Research. Her PhD thesis called «Optimization algorithms for decentralized, distributed and collaborative machine learning» received ELLIS PhD Award and EPFL Thesis Distinction Award.
Anastasia’s research is focused on machine learning, optimization, and their intersections with decentralized and collaborative learning, and privacy.
