SNSF Starting Grants for three DSI members

In this year's call for proposals by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), ten researchers from UZH received a coveted Starting Grant – including three members of the DSI. We congratulate them on this success.

The SNSF Starting Grants enable researchers to set up their own teams in Switzerland to carry out their projects. They represent the highest funding level in the SNSF career programs. This year, a total of 425 applications for the SNSF Starting Grants 2025 were evaluated, of which 41 were approved.

The following DSI members are among the successful applicants:

  • Helena Hof  Provisional Futures: Migrants as wanted workers, yet temporary residents
  • Giorgia Ramponi  Multi-agent learning from demonstrations and human-feedback
  • Jing Zeng  VIZTOX: Visual Toxicity in the Digital Platform Age

We congratulate all three researchers and wish them every success in implementing their research projects.
