Apéro Digital: two new infographic artifacts published
Apéro Digital is a series of events that aims to build bridges between different sectors in order to drive impactful change. The key outcomes of the discussions are presented in infographic artifacts. The infographics for the third and fourth events in the series are now available.

Apéro Digital is an outreach effort, organized by the BRIDGE Lab at the University of Zurich (UZH) and the Responsible AI Innovation group at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), with the funding support from the DIZH. Apéro Digital aims to bridge the gap between sectors to drive impactful change through, among others, co-produced infographic artifacts illustrating the key outcome of the discussions. The third Apéro Digital event was organized in collaboration with the DSI Strategy Lab, addressing the challenge of «Generative AI for Organizational Processes in Business». As part of the 2024 DSI Disinformation Month, this event identified promising benefits and potential threats of impactful tools such as digital marketing, document management, or internal communications. The discussion yielded specific learnings on strategies that allow risk mitigation, while harnessing the power of AI to drive organizational efficiency and creativity. The fourth Apéro Digital event was organized in collaboraiton with AlgorithmWatch CH and Dezentrum, focusing on the theme of «Regulatory Pathways for Online Platforms in Switzerland». Together with AI experts and media specialists at different Federal Offices, the event explored the influence of Big Tech and AI on democracy, deliberation and elections through participatory and co-creation approaches. During the event, a speculartive newspaper Click was co-develoepd by the participatns, featuring alternative realities, future scenarios, and hypothetical events, on the basis of current societal trends. The Apéro Digital series will continue connecting innovators, domain experts, policy makers, thought leaders, impact catalysts, and civil soiety representatives around topics related to digital transformation, human-centered tech research, and value-based innovation.
