First DSI Strategy Lab
Table of contents
Introduction
The first DSI Strategy Lab investigated which civil, criminal, administrative, and international law issues the use of artificial intelligence may have in numerous application areas and how to respond to these regulatory challenges. The Center for Information Technology, Society, and Law (ITSL), a center of excellence at UZH, was closely involved in the work.
The goal of the work of the first DSI Strategy Lab was to identify the key challenges of regulating AI with a position paper, to formulate the regulatory approaches and outlines of possible rules, and to establish a research plan to develop concrete solutions (in the form of formulated standards or norm concepts) to these challenges.
