The "Zurich meets San Francisco" festival last week gathered researchers from Zurich and California. One of the topics was the influence of social media on democracy, the second research topic presented by the UZH at the festival was urban navigation technologies.
At the "Zurich meets San Francisco" festival political science professor and DSI Fellow Fabrizio Gilardi addressed the influence of social media on democracy. Sara Fabrikant, representative of the DSI board of directors and professor at the Geographical Institute of the UZH, dealt with the second festival theme - urban navigation systems.
