About the author
Roland Meyer is DIZH Bridge Professor of Digital Cultures and Arts at the University of Zurich and the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). His work centres on the networked image cultures of the present. He is particularly interested in the new functions digital images take on in the context of global platforms of image circulation, the growing saturation of everyday life with mobile networked devices, and the algorithmic mass processing of image data.
