SADUS: Societal Acceptance of Drones in Urban Switzerland

This project seeks to generate empirical knowledge about perceptions and attitudes towards the use of drones in urban settings in the Swiss context, with the aim of raising awareness about the ethical and societal implications of high-impact technologies more broadly.

The increasing demand and high potential of drones in urban environments raises a number of ethical and societal concerns. This project explores the ethical risks associated with the urban drones from the perspective of societal acceptance of their use in the Swiss context. Project partners include the University of Geneva as well as institutions from industry, civil society, and the Canton of Zurich.
