Institute: Department of Informatics, People and Computing Lab, University of Zurich

Research Interest: I am particularly interested in researching vulnerable and marginalised communities. Specifically, I focus on the design and development of digital interventions in the space of domestic violence, intimate partner violence and forced marriages. I make use of trauma-informed and participatory design approaches, which will help the participants involved in my research to gain a sense of agency and ownership in the technologies that emerge from the project. While the previously highlighted topic is my main research area, I also am interested in researching other interdisciplinary topics; currently, I am also researching in the space of (Mental) Health,  Diversity and Culture.

Fun Fact: I really, really love cats. I have three cats, and my backup plan for life is to open a kitten foster home.
