Marc Walder (*1965) was appointed Chairman of the Group Executive Board of Ringier AG in April 2012. He serves on numerous boards, including SMG Swiss Marketplace Group, JobCloud AG and Ringier Sports Media Group. He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ticketcorner AG, Ringier Axel Springer Schweiz AG and Grupa Ringier Axel Springer Polska AG, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Admeira AG and Ringier Sports AG, among others. Marc Walder is a member of the Board of Directors of sportradar, the world's leading sports technology company, and a member of the Executive Advisory Board of WORLD.MINDS.

As a member of the Swiss Federal Council's Digital Advisory Board and founder of the digitalswitzerland location initiative, which brings together over 250 of Switzerland's largest companies and institutions, he is committed to the country's digital development and transformation. At the Digital Economy Award Night 2019, he was awarded the honorary «Digital Economy Ambassador» prize for his commitment to the Swiss economy and the ICT sector. Under Marc Walder's leadership, Ringier AG has consistently driven the diversification and digitization of the Group with significant investments in digital ecosystems.

Marc Walder graduated from the Advanced Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School in Boston in 2008. In January 2018, Marc Walder became a shareholder in Ringier AG with a 10 percent stake.
