Promotions for two DSI members
The Board of the University of Zurich has promoted has promoted DSI member Prof. Dr. Meredith Christine Shuman and Affiliated DSI Professor Alberto Bacchelli. We extend our heartfelt congratulations.
The Digital Society Initiative (DSI) at the University of Zurich is delighted to announce that the two DSI members Meredith Christine Shuman and Alberto Bacchelli have been promoted by the Board of the University.
DSI member Meredith Christine Schuman has been an assistant professor of Spatial Genetics at the University of Zurich since 2019. Effective April 1, 2026, she was appointed associate professor ad personam of Spatial Genetics of Ecosystems.
Affiliated DSI Professor Alberto Bacchelli has been an associate professor of Empirical Software Engineering since 2020. He has now been appointed full professor ad personam in this field, effective April 1, 2026.
