2nd DSI Community Education Conference – Smart Education: Shaping the Future of Learning with AI and Digital Technologies
The 2nd DSI Community Education Conference invites early-career researchers to explore how AI and digital technologies are transforming learning and teaching. It provides a focused platform for interdisciplinary exchange, fostering discussions through a poster presentation format. Only 20 contributions will be selected for the conference, with participation fees and poster printing costs covered by the Digital Society Initiative. Submissions will undergo a double-blind review by both a peer and an external evaluator. Outstanding poster presentation(s) will be awarded at the conference.
The conference will open with a keynote address by Prof. Dr. Andreas Lachner (University of Tübingen, Germany), a co-director of the Tübingen Center for Digital Education and a leading scholar in the field. His research examines evidence-informed practices for integrating digital technologies, including AI-driven systems, to enhance motivation, self-regulation, and knowledge construction. He is known for his contributions to scalable and adaptive teaching frameworks that address classroom heterogeneity and advance equitable education. His work has been widely recognized with prestigious editorial roles and awards.
