Esra's research bridges computational methods, urban systems, and human behavior – developing tools to analyze how cities function and evolve. Her work addresses mobility, land use, housing, and their connections to social, environmental, and health inequalities, with a particular focus on the transition to net zero and key housing challenges in urban areas.
With a PhD from Imperial College London and research experience at ETH Zurich and University College London, Esra brings a strong international perspective to understanding and modeling the cities of tomorrow.
