Thank you very much for your interest in the Digital Society Initiative and the Excellence Program for PhDs. Our complementary doctoral program starts annually in September.

For the September 2026 intake, you can apply here from January 15 to April 6, 2026.

Please note: While the DSI Excellence Program itself does not offer scholarships, UZH.ai Fellows receive a CHF 47’000 contribution towards their first-year PhD salary, funded by UZH.ai. Learn more about the UZH.ai Fellowship here.
