«M-Rational»: Help wanted
The Digital Society Initiative (DSI) at the University of Zurich is looking for a PhD Student in Philosophy for the SNSF-Project M-Rational. The application window closes on July 1, 2025.
The research project «Reconceiving and Improving Multi-Perspectivality and Rationality in Argumentative AI (M-Rational)» investigates how artificial intelligence (AI) can be enabled to recognize different points of view in arguments and identify their underlying assumptions and value systems. The aim is neither to reduce everything to a single «truth» nor to accept any number of positions as equally valid.
For this project, we are looking for a: PhD Student in Philosophy 80%.
