Dr. Sarah Lechmann
Sarah Lechmann is co-director of the Digital Society Initiative of the University of Zurich (UZH).
Sarah Lechmann studied earth sciences (geology and geochemistry) at the ETH Zurich, where she also received her doctorate in 2012. From 2013 to 2016 she worked as a project manager at armasuisse Science and Technology in Thun. In addition to her employment, she obtained an IPMA C certification as a project manager.
Sarah Lechmann started working for the Digital Society Initiative at the end of 2016, initially as research coordinator and since the beginning of 2019 as co-managing director. From 2016 to 2018 she completed her Master of Advanced Studies in Management, Technology and Economics at ETH Zurich.
At the Digital Society Initiative, Sarah Lechmann is responsible for Finance, Human Resources and DSI Fellowships and Matching Funds for projects.
